Windows Vista or Windows 7 with Firefox
- Web Folders work best with Internet Explorer - you can download the latest version click here
- If you are using Firefox as your browser, you will need to install IE Tab in order to use the WebFolders. This is a free third-party extension available here.
Once installed, IE Tab enables you to switch between a Firefox view and an Internet Explorer view. Just click on the small Firefox logo at the bottom right of your browser which looks like this :
and it will change to a small Internet Explorer logo which looks like this :
- If you receive an error , your folders load but are completely blank or you only see your local computer drives then you may need to install the Microsoft update here
- You will need to prefix your username with SBLOCK\. (i.e. SBLOCK\username). !! NOTE THE DIRECTION OF THE \ !!
Known Issues
- We recommend that you follow normal "safe practice" when accessing the Internet; use up-to-date antivirus software,
a firewall and anti-spyware protection.

- If you share your home computer with others, do not tick "Remember My Password" or "Save This Password" when prompted for your details.
- When you have finished using WebServices, make sure that you close all browser windows.
- You must log off from Windows to close your connection to Web Folders.
- It is NOT recommended that you use Web Folders on a public computer (i.e. a public library).
