The Awards

Commitment

Showing commitment to a sports club, a team or PE. It may be something as simple as remembering your kit for every lesson.

Understanding

Demonstrating good understanding of a new activity, a drill, a game, or in a test. Or even working hard in your lessons listening to the teacher’s instructions!

Being Healthy and Active

Everyone can achieve this through regular attendance to the fitness suite or even answering questions in your lesson about health and fitness!

Confidence

This could be showing confidence in a lesson to be a captain or a leader, having the confidence to join a new club, or even being confident enough to answer difficult questions in a lesson.

Developing Skills

You can acquire this award by developing your skills in a lesson, club or game. It could be something as simple as finally mastering a seat drop on the trampoline.

Taking Part in Different Activities

Taking part in a variety of clubs or activities or out of school, the more challenging the better!

Thinking for Yourself

This involves you taking some responsibility for your learning such as thinking the best way to perform a drill, leading a warm up.

Desire to Improve

This simply could be you showing your PE teacher a desire to improve in your lessons. It could be improvement in kit, behaviour, enthusiasm.

Building Your Strength, Suppleness and Stamina

Attending the fitness suite, joining the cross country team to build up your stamina are all ways to achieve this award. .

Enjoyment

This is the easiest one to achieve, just show us in any way that you are enjoying your PE lessons.
