Hair Raising Scheme!
As part of the insulation experiment currently underway in our Environment Centre, Mr Sandercock and Dr Danahar decided to try and see how human hair would work! It is our bodies own insulation system, so it seemed to make sense (even though it also seems a little gross!) so a plan was put in action...
Professional hairdressers were brought in to chop the locks off of willing staff and pupils. The hair was then all collected up and will be used to keep the Environement Centre cosey and warm. Spectators all paid £1 to watch and there was also a bidding war between pupils to be the lucky person to shave off Mr Sandercocks hair!
All of the money raised will go towards further work on the Environment Centre.
