Art Technician Internship
We are currently advertising an exciting position in the Art and Design Department at Dorothy Stringer. We are seeking candidates who would like to do an internship in our Art department taking on the role of Art technician. This is a voluntary position enabling the intern to gain valuable work experience in a thriving and happy school.
Work experience enables you to test out your career choices, put your knowledge into practice, gives you the opportunity to work with a variety of people, makes your CV stand out from the crowd, allows you to network and generally improves your chances of future employment.
The position would suit a range of applicants; parents with school aged children considering returning to work, graduates looking for work experience, people considering teaching as a possible profession or anyone who is looking for work experience within a school for whatever reason.
This position could be on a part time or full time basis but we would like a commitment of at least one term, approximately 3 months. However, a longer period would be welcomed. This is a varied role and a detailed job description can be found at the link below:
