Homework
Homework is set regularly for all pupils, not only to consolidate classroom teaching but also to inspire disciplined habits of study. The actual amount of work set varies according to the age and ability of the individual pupil. All subjects should set one homework per fortnight.
All pupils are issued with a diary in which to record details of work set, and both parents and teachers are expected to check it regularly. This diary must be brought into school each day and form tutors and all teachers use this to record a number of important details of the day to day life of your child in your school. Full details of the schools homework policy are found in the diary, and a homework timetable is issued at the start of each academic year.
