Exams at Stringer

Pupils will sit internal exams in most subjects. These may be informal classroom tests, or more formal exams in the hall. The information gained from these assessments is used by staff to provide better education for the pupils.

Pupils will be issued with exam entry sheets before all external exams. It is very important that the details are checked carefully. The entry sheets show which paper and which tier a pupil is entered for. Exam information can be found directly from the exam boards, accessible from the link to the left, or by contacting the school.

Exam Timetables 2011/12

Below you will find the timetable relating to the external exams which Year 11 (and some students in other year groups) will sit from Monday 14th May 2012 to Thursday 28th June 2012 inclusive. It should be looked at in conjunction with the associated exam information letter also listed. Not all pupils will have an exam on every day or for the whole period of the timetable. It has been issued now to allow you and your child to plan ahead and think about a revision timetable.

NB. The dates and times of the exams shown are correct at the stage of timetable construction, therefore subject to any changes made by the exam boards. It is vital thus that when statements of entry covering these exams are received (distributed to students via form tutor nearer the time) that these are thoroughly checked and any changes noted.
