Exam Results
This Summer, with an incredible 84% of pupils achieving A*-C grades (GCSE and equivalent) altogether, we have managed to improve our pass success rate for the 10th consecutive year - one of only a handful of schools in the country to have done so! This pass rate becomes 65% when including English and Maths - another marvellous achievement and an improvement on last year. We are incredibly proud of all of our departments and pupils!
- We also had a record 325 A* grades, which is a phenomenal amount and a huge increase on last year (281)
- 566 average point score, our best ever (534 in 2008). This is equivalent to each pupil gaining 7 A* grades and 3 A grades!
- 67% of our pupils gained 10 or more A*-C grades and 54% gained 12 or more
- 12 pupils scored over 900 points (equal to 15 A* grades)
- 30 pupils achieved 16 A*-C grades each and another 13 pupils managed 17, 18 or 19 A*-C grades each!
- 22% of our grades were A* or A
