Following their huge success at our recent Open Evening, we have been asked to post two of our fabulous and easy recipes online for you. So go on. Try them out and enjoy!

Potato Scones
- 185gms self raising flour
- 3 medium potatoes
- 10gms basil leaves
- 40gms polenta
- 30gms butter/ margerine
- 50gms grated cheddar
- 60ml milk
Method:
- Boil then mash the potatoes
- Combine the flour and polenta in a bowl
- Rub in the butter and stir in the basil, cheese and milk
- Add the mash
- Mix to a soft dough, then place on a floured surface
- Knead the dough until smooth
- Roll until 1.5 cm thick, then cut into 4cm rounds
- Can then be fried (tastier) or baked (healthier) for 30mins

Spicy Potato and Coriander Salad
- 1kg of new potatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 cup of fresh coriander
- 3 teaspoons of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
Dressing:
- ½ cup of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
Method:
- Boil some water for the potatoes
- Make the dressing
- Heat some oil in a wok
- Prepare the veg
- Stir fry the onions, garlic and spices
- Add the potatoes and coriander
- Fry for another 5 mins
- Remove from heat and enjoy
