Open Auditions for current Years 8-10 to star in our 2011 production of 'Grease'
- Monday 12th July 4pm - Year 10
- Tuesday 13th July 4pm - Year 8
- Wednesday 14th July 4pm - Year 9
- Thursday 15th July 4pm - Recalls
- Friday 16th July 4pm - Final Casting
No preparation needed for the auditions. Students will be asked to sing, dance and contribute to short scripted scenes.
Successful cast members will be issued with a script and will be expected to learn their lines in preparation for rehearsals starting in September.
By auditioning, students are commiting to the performance and should be aware that there will be an intensive after school rehearsal period from September to February during which cast members must not take time off school for family holidays. If you know that you will be away for an extended period of time, please do not audition for the production.
All cast members must be available for:
- Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th January - Weekend Rehearsal
- Friday 28th January (Evening) - Band Call (whole cast)
- Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th January - Ist Dress Rehearsal
- Monday 31st January - Tech Rehearsal
- Tuesday 1st February - Final Dress Rehearsal
- Wednesday 2nd to Saturday 5th February - Evening Performances
