During half-term we went to Dolawen in Wales for five days and because we loved it so much we thought we would tell you all about it!
We did loads of activities whilst we were there, including gorge walking, dry-slope skiing, kayaking, rock climbing and sea cliff traversing. On the first day we went Gorge Walking, which is where you walk up a waterfall type feature. It was really fun but you get soaking wet!
The next day we went kayaking and rock climbing. In kayaking we all capsized and got completely drenched but it was great fun.
On the last day we went sea cliff traversing which was the best! You travel to the beach which is really beautiful and then go around the cliff edge with a harness on. You also go on a zip wire which was so fun because you thought you were going to fall in to the sea!!! Even if you managed to stay reasonably dry, at the end of it you still had to jump into the sea and swim a little bit to shore.
During the evening we did other activities such as dry slope skiing, which was amazing, and one night the teachers dropped us off at a random place and we had to find our own way back to the centre. We also played lots of games in the fields behind Dolawen. It was one of the best holidays that we have been on with the school and we would recommend it to everyone!

Dolawen was really fun. I enjoyed all of the activities, especially the sea cliff traversing. This was really fun. You had to zip wire over the sea. It was a bit scary though! Rock climbing and abseiling were amazing too, apart from when I had to lower myself over the edge! All of the instructors were really nice and it was good working as a team.
